What is Invisalign?
Invisalign are BPA-free, plastic base, custom-made aligners. They have become well known because of their transparency and their removability. The aligners exert pressure on your aligner to help shift your teeth into the correct positions. You will need to visit our offfice to replace the aligners every two to three weeks so that your teeth will move into the correct positions.
Here are some of the benefits Invisalign has to offer:
No uncomfortable wiring
Easy oral hygiene maintenance
Our average patient completes their treatment within the initial year, but the time span will vary for each person. While conducting your consultation, your dentist will be able to provide you with an estimated timeframe for your Invisalign treatment.
Our dentist will recommend wearing retainers once you have completed your Invisalign treatment to keep your teeth in their new, corrected positions. Additionally, our dentist may suggest scheduling more frequent appointments for teeth cleaning to maintain your excellent results.
Invisalign is not recommended for adults with severe alignment problems or children.
